Tom Cruise swoops into Cannes, igniting film festival with jets and star power

 

Tom Cruise moved into the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday — stream planes close behind — wrenching up merriments with activity, star power and signature signings on honorary pathway.


Fans welcomed him with whoops and hollers and the French Air Force aerobatic group Patrouille de France flew upward, splashing the sky with shaded smoke trails in red, white and blue.
